UPGM/GPO-3 Sheet

GPO-3 Sheet Product Introduction

I. Product Definition and Core Features

GPO-3 (also known as UPGM-203) is a rigid insulating sheet formed by high-temperature, high-pressure lamination using alkali-free glass fiber mats as reinforcement materials and unsaturated polyester resin as the binder.

Its core features include:

Electrical Performance:

Arc resistance ≥180 seconds, Comparative Tracking Index (CTI) ≥600V, Dielectric strength (3mm thickness) ≥25kV, Complies with UL94 V-0 flame-retardant standard.

Mechanical Performance:

Tensile strength 340-440 MPa, Flexural strength 250-350 MPa, Rockwell hardness HR-R 120-125, combines rigidity and impact resistance.

Thermal Resistance:

Insulation class F (155℃), short-term heat resistance up to 210℃, stable electrical and mechanical properties within 120-210℃.

Processability:

Suitable for stamping, drilling, milling, and other machining processes.

Ideal for customizing complex shapes with high processing efficiency and no delamination.

II. Raw Materials and Manufacturing Process

Raw Materials:

Alkali-free glass fiber mats: Provide high strength and deformation resistance, with uniform fiber structure ensuring material isotropy.

Unsaturated polyester resin: Offers excellent adhesion and chemical corrosion resistance. Flame retardants are added to meet UL94 V-0 standards.

Manufacturing Process:

Impregnation: Glass fiber mats are fully saturated in resin solution to ensure penetration into fiber gaps.

Drying: Solvents and moisture are removed to form prepreg.

Lamination: Prepreg layers are thermally cured under 120-210℃ and 5-15MPa pressure to create a dense structure.

Post-processing: Cutting, grinding, and other techniques achieve dimensional precision, with surface roughness Ra ≤3.2μm.
